Security

Real calls, handled responsibly.

Sonaris places real phone calls and stores real evidence. That only works if testing is authorized, destinations are controlled, and recordings are protected. Here is how we do it.

How a test works

Sonaris originates a call from our infrastructure to the number you provide, the same way a customer would dial it. Nothing is installed on your systems and nothing changes in your phone configuration. We record the call, transcribe it, evaluate the journey and store the result.

Authorized testing only

Every test requires an explicit declaration that you are authorized to test the number. Testing numbers you do not own or manage violates our acceptable use policy and leads to suspension.

Controlled destinations

  • Calls are limited to an allowlist of supported countries and number ranges.
  • Premium-rate and high-risk destinations are blocked.
  • Rate limits apply per IP address, email, account and destination number.
  • Anomalous usage triggers automated blocks and human review.

Recordings and transcripts

  • Recordings are stored encrypted and served only through signed URLs that expire.
  • No recording or phone number is ever exposed through a predictable public URL.
  • Retention follows your plan's history window; after that, evidence is deleted.
  • Recording can be disabled per market where local rules require it — metrics and transcription remain.

Your data

  • Encryption in transit and at rest.
  • Access to recordings is restricted to your organization's users.
  • You can delete monitors, results and your account at any time.
  • Audit logs record access to evidence.
